Relocation to Cornwall - Life in Launceston

We’ve finally made the move to beautiful Cornwall, and my family and I couldn’t be happier.

We are now based in Launceston — the historic “capital of Cornwall” — right on the Cornish/Devon border. It’s the perfect spot for us, giving easy access to both counties while still allowing us to travel further afield for shoots and projects across the UK.

This has been a long-held goal and we’re so pleased it’s now a reality. Cornwall has always felt like a place of significance to me — a kind of spiritual home.

Even though we’ve only been here a few weeks, I already feel settled. It must be that sea air!

We’re fortunate in our location, with all of Cornwall at our doorstep and Devon just as close — the best of both worlds. Now comes the exciting part: getting our artistic endeavours fully up and running and rooting ourselves in the community. We can’t wait to get started.

Talking of life in Launceston — or Lanson, as it’s fondly known — here on the Cornwall/Devon border, we’ve quickly come to appreciate just how special this town is.

At the heart of the community is Launceston Life magazine. We first came across it as soon as we moved here — in fact, it was one of the very first publications we picked up — and it has since become a constant source of useful information for local residents.

We were delighted to see that Launceston Life recently ran a lovely little article about some of our work. It was such a thoughtful feature, and we’re really grateful to them for the support.

A little update - under the cover of the COVID-19 crisis, we tied the knot here in Cornwall. It’s official. Married. Settled. Moving forward.

Love to you all.
